The Quarry is based in the heart of Shrewsbury, which is 29-acre park¬land, encircled by the majestic loop of the River Severn. The Quarry has been Shrewsbury’s most important site for recreation since the 16th Century. It still provides the perfect place to relax, enjoy walks, picnic, fish along the banks of the river, or just enjoy the views.
The Shrewsbury Quarry project involves the design and construction of a Community Centre. The proposal consists of two storeys and a fully re-landscaped outdoor space. The primary aim of the project was to aid in the welfare of members of the local community.
